Michelle is known as a teacher's teacher. A graduate of the College of Notre Dame in Maryland with a M.S. in Educational Leadership and B.S. from Towson University in Social Sciences, she has spent the past 13 years as a middle school social studies teacher in Baltimore County. She is the sponsor of her school's successful Black Saga teams. Last November, she premiered the statewide new African American Journey Curriculum developed in partnership with the Maryland State Department of Education and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum.
