The Maryland State Department of Education and Microsoft Education will announce special statewide collaboration at High Point High School in Prince George’s County this week that will make available new tools to Maryland public schools and their students.
The program is made possible by corporate partners and will give Maryland youth access to additional training and technology to better prepare them for college and a modern workforce. The special program is Microsoft’s response to President Obama’s challenge through the ConnectED initiative, designed to enrich K-12 education through technology.
