Editor’s Note:  Each Friday, Dr. Lillian Lowery, Maryland’s State Superintendent of Schools, will publish a calendar of her public events planned for the next week. Her intent is to increase the media’s access to information and activities related to education in Maryland. Schedules are subject to change but can be used to plan coverage for the upcoming week.

Wednesday, January 15
9 a.m. – Early Childhood Care and Education Research Forum – Towson University, University Commons, 4th Floor, Towson, MD 21252
Dr. Lowery will provide opening remarks for the daylong forum.

2 p.m. – Technology in Maryland Schools Briefing - Senate Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee, 2 W. Miller Senate Building, 11 Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
Dr. Lowery and MSDE staff will present to the committee along with representatives of other State agencies and local public school systems.
