Baltimore, MD (January 27, 2016)
The record-setting snow storm that blanketed Maryland caused postponements of the special forums that had been planned to gather public input regarding the next State Superintendent. The Maryland State Board of Education has rescheduled four of the five forums.
Working with search firm Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), the forums will be used to help identify the characteristics necessary to help lead the State’s education system. The forums, facilitated by a member of HYA, are planned for locations throughout the State.
In addition, an online survey remains available to collect information. The public can access the survey at www.ecrasurvey.com/MSDE.
