Dr. Lowery will provide remarks on the importance of early education and childcare.


Wednesday, February 5
2 p.m. – Digital Learning Day, Library of Congress, Jefferson Building, Coolidge Auditorium,
101 Independence Avenue, SE, Washington, DC  20540
Dr. Lowery will take part in a panel discussion on educational technology and its growing importance in today’s classrooms in an event sponsored by the Alliance for Excellent Education.

Thursday, February 6
10 a.m. – Washington, DC Educational Policy Fellowship Program, State House,
100 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 20410
Dr. Lowery will be speaking to educational policy fellows about current issues in the field, educational challenges, and leadership successes.

11:30 a.m. – Maryland Energy Cup Event, Miller Senate Office Building, West I and II,
11 W. Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
Dr. Lowery will participate in an event sponsored by the Maryland Department of General Services, spotlighting energy conservation by State agencies.

1 p.m. – Budget Hearing, House Education and Economic Development Subcommittee,
Lowe House Office, 6 Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
Dr. Lowery and staff will present the fiscal 2015 budget proposal for MSDE Headquarters and Early Childhood Development.


Friday, February 7
1 p.m. – Budget Hearing, Senate Subcommittee on Education, Business, and Administration,
3 West, Miller Senate Office Building, 11 W. Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
Dr. Lowery and staff will present the fiscal 2015 budget proposal for MSDE Headquarters and Early Childhood Development.
