Monday, February 10
9:30 a.m. – Ribbon Cutting - Elmer A. Henderson/Johns Hopkins Partnership K-8 School,
2100 Ashland Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21205
Dr. Lowery will take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

1:30 p.m. – School Safety Center Governing Board Meeting, Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center, 7125 Ambassador Road, Baltimore, MD 21244
Dr. Lowery chairs the board and will take part in the meeting.

Tuesday, February 11
10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Maryland Teachers of the Year Day in Annapolis – Maryland State House,
100 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401, and Maryland Inn, 58 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401
Teachers of the Year from Maryland’s 24 school systems will come to Annapolis to be honored by both Houses of the General Assembly and receive a briefing on education issues from Dr. Lowery.   The House and Senate will pay tribute to the teachers between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., followed by the briefing at the Maryland Inn, beginning at 11:15 a.m.

Dr. Lowery will meet with the 2014 class of Leadership Allegany!
