Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17

Wednesday, March 18
8:30 a.m. - Garrett County Schools Visit
Swan Meadow School, 6709 Garrett Highway, Oakland, MD, 21550 and
Crellin Elementary School, 115 Kendall Drive, Oakland, MD 21550
Dr. Lowery will visit two schools in Garrett County to observe STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) classes and other educational programs.

1:15 p.m. - Allegany County Schools Visit
Allegany High, 616 Sedgewick Street, Cumberland, MD  21502;
John Humbird Elementary School, 120 Mary Street, Cumberland, MD 21502; and
Flintstone Elementary School, 22000 National Pike, NE, Flintstone, MD 21530
Continuing her visit to Western Maryland, Dr. Lowery will visit three Allegany County schools to observe STEM classes and other educational programs.

Thursday, March 19
12 p.m. - Morgan State University Innovation Day
Miller Senate Office Building, Presidential Conference Center West
11 Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
Dr. Lowery will address Morgan students and faculty at the annual event, as well as visit with student researchers who will demonstrate their work on MSU’s economic and social impact.

Friday, March 20
No public schedule.

Saturday, March 21
10:30 a.m. - Council of Chief State School Officers Arts Education Partnership
Capital Hilton, 10001 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC  20036
Dr. Lowery will discuss Maryland’s work in arts education.
