            Allegany Superintendent David Cox
            Garrett Superintendent Janet Wilson
            Cindy Hasselbring, Special Assistant to the State Superintendent
            Educators and students at Allegany and Garrett County Schools

WHAT:  Dr. Lowery will tour several schools in Western Maryland to view the cutting edge educational practices taking place, with a special emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).  Both Allegany and Garrett Counties have developed STEM programs that are designed to strengthen workforce and economic development.
