Dr. Lowery will welcome attendees and give opening remarks.

1 p.m. – Ready at Five School Readiness Symposium, Turf Valley Resort, Cameo Room, 2700 Turf Valley Road, Ellicott City, MD  21042
Dr. Lowery will discuss early childhood mathematics and its importance to our youngest learners.

6 p.m. – UMBC Meyerhoff Scholars Graduation Event, Grand Lodge of Maryland, 302 International Circle, Cockeysville, MD 21030
Dr. Lowery will attend the event honoring the 2014 graduates of the prestigious program.

Wednesday, May 7
1 p.m. –P-20 Council Meeting, Miller Senate Office Building,  West 1&2, 11 W. Bladen Street, Annapolis, MD 21401
Dr. Lowery will participate in the quarterly meeting of the Governor’s P-20 Council.

7 p.m. – “Coming Back with Wes Moore” Preview Screening, sponsored by Maryland Public Television, Walters Art Museum, 600 North Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201   
Dr. Lowery will attend the screening and participate in a discussion about the film.

Thursday, May 8 - Friday, May 9
