Public Notice: Meeting on Parental Consent and Burden of Proof Due Process

Baltimore, MD (July 22, 2016)

Assistant State Superintendent Marcella Franczkowski is convening stakeholders from the special education community to share their thoughts on the issues of parental consent and burden of proof in due process hearings. The public is welcome to attend to hear the discussion.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) located at 200 W. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201 in conference room #6 on the 8th floor. A follow up meeting will take place at MSDE on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at MSDE in conference room #2 on the 8th floor.
