Maryland State Superintendent of Schools Lillian M. Lowery will discuss the State school system’s transition to higher standards and better assessments as part of a panel discussion at this weekend’s Maryland Association of Counties Summer Conference.
Dr. Lowery will detail Maryland’s College and Career Ready Standards, implementation of the new PARCC state assessments, and describe how the Maryland State Department of Education is supporting educators and students during the upcoming school year and beyond.
