The Maryland State Department of Education will host a Twitter Chat this week, with MSDE early childhood development experts responding to questions about kindergarten and pre-k preparation.

The lunch hour chat on August 22 will explore concerns and questions parents and guardians may have before their children enter a classroom for the very first time, what to expect with the new kindergarten assessment, and how to identify high-quality child care and pre-K programs.
