Dr. Lowery will join U.S. Agriculture Assistant Secretary Gregory Parham, Maryland Agriculture Secretary Buddy Hance, and Prince George’s CEO Kevin Maxwell at kick-off event for the week, which encourages local schools to use locally produced food in their school lunch programs.
Tuesday, September 16
1 p.m., P-20 Leadership Council, Miller Senate Office Building, CR West I and II,

Dr. Lowery will take part in the regular meeting of the council..
Wednesday, September 17

Dr. Lowery will take part in the regular GWIB meeting.
Thursday, September 18
9:30 a.m., Prince George’s County Council, Health, Education, and Human Services Committee, County Administration Building, Room 2027, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
Dr. Lowery will join Prince George’s System CEO Kevin Maxwell in a discussion about college and career ready standards.

Dr. Lowery will take part in the council’s regular meeting.
