Maryland education leaders and their partners are heading to Ocean City this week for the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), Division of Special Education/Early Intervention Services 2014 Professional Learning Institute (PLI).
This year’s PLI theme is “The Power of What’s Working: Spotlight on Results.” The 2014 PLI spotlights the efforts and work of State and local special education and early intervention programs to produce results for children and students and their families.
The PLI’s content applies data to informed decision-making to support the implementation of evidence-based and promising practices, as part of the DSE/EIS Strategic Plan to narrow success gaps for all students including students with disabilities. More than 300 local, State, and national leaders and families will participate during the three day Institute.
