State Superintendent Lowery will take part in the State Board’s abbreviated monthly meeting, rescheduled from December 10.

10:30 a.m.
Visit to Baltimore Montessori School, 1600 Guilford Avenue, Baltimore, MD  21202
State Superintendent Lowery will visit the Baltimore Montessori School, tour classrooms and meet with staff and students.

Tuesday, December 17

Wednesday, December 18

Board of Public Works Meeting, Governor’s Reception Room, 2nd Floor, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401
State Superintendent Lowery will take part in the regular meeting of the Board of Public Works. BPW is scheduled to review the transfer of the Partnership for the Assessment of Readiness for College and Career (PARCC) fiscal agent duties from the state of Florida to the state of Maryland.

Thursday, December 19

Visit to the Maryland School for the Blind, 3501 Taylor Avenue, Baltimore, MD  21236
State Superintendent Lowery will visit the Maryland School for the Blind, meeting with school president Dr. Michael Bina and touring the facility.
