Gov. Martin O’Malley and State Superintendent of Schools Lillian M. Lowery will join a host of business and government officials on Friday, December 19, to announce a surprise special honor spotlighting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.
The announcement will take place at Old Mill Middle School-South in Anne Arundel County. Students and staff will take part in the event.
