Antonina Wallace, an early childhood special needs teacher at Carrolltowne Elementary School, has taught children ages 3-5 since 2001. Previously, she was a special education teacher at Carroll Springs School. Mrs. Wallace serves as an ongoing mentor for new teachers, assisting with skill development, special education issues, classroom management, and student learning. She provides autism programming for students, presenting management strategies to peers, and modeling a language-based behavioral intervention strategy she designed. Mrs. Wallace combines extensive knowledge of child development, expertise in working with children, and compassion for students, creating an outstanding learning environment.
